🔌 Step 1: Connect Your Controller First Setup Required
â–ŧ
Web browsers cannot detect a game controller over thin air. Connect your controller to this device (phone, tablet, or computer) before telemetry can be read.
1 Connect Hardware
Plug in with a USB data cable or hold your controller's pairing button to connect via Bluetooth in settings.
2 Press Any Button
For privacy protection, browsers will not poll gamepads until you press a button (e.g. A or ✕) to wake the Web Gamepad API.
3 Live Diagnostic
Move the sticks and test the triggers. The radar dials and on-screen vector controller will immediately track deflection and circularity.

Why are the Xbox Guide, Series X Share & PS Home buttons excluded?
Operating systems (Windows Game Bar, iOS Home, macOS, and Android Assistant) intercept these system keys directly at the hardware layer for security reasons, preventing browsers from listening to them. All 16 gaming buttons and analog axes above are fully testable in real-time.
Joystick Engineering & Tension Guide Hardware Comparison

Understand what causes stick drift, the difference between sensor technologies, and which controllers support custom tactile spring tuning.

ALPS Factory OEM Stock Standard

Standard potentiometers fitted in retail controllers. Uses mechanical metal wiper brushes dragging over carbon tracks. Prone to friction wear and drift.

  • Mechanism: Friction Carbon Wiper
  • Lifespan: 400–600 Hours
  • Drift Vulnerability: High (Mechanical Wear)
  • Signal Noise: Moderate to High
Hall Effect Permanent Fix

Contactless magnetic technology. Embedded semiconductor sensors track movement across magnetic flux fields with zero physical friction.

  • Mechanism: Magnetic Flux Sensors
  • Lifespan: Friction-Free (Years)
  • Drift Vulnerability: Immune to Wear Drift
  • Power Draw: Moderate (~115%)
TMR Quantum Esports Grade

Next-generation magnetic tunneling sensors. Yields higher magnetic sensitivity, sub-1% circularity jitter, and ultra-low battery consumption.

  • Mechanism: Quantum Tunneling
  • Precision / Jitter: < 0.5% Sub-Pixel
  • Battery Impact: Ultra-Low (~20% of Hall)
  • Lifespan: Permanent Contactless
đŸŽ¯ Custom Mechanical Spring Tension Upgrades Spring Modification
Spring tension upgrades replace the loose internal centering spring with stiffer high-tensile steel springs. This gives the joystick a firmer, more controlled physical push to prevent accidental over-aiming in competitive shooters.
Factory Stock Springs
Standard loose resistance straight from the retail box. Fast to push, but easy to accidentally flick off-target during high-stress micro-adjustments.
Firm Tactical Springs (+30%)
Our most popular competitive mod. Eliminates loose stick slop in shooters like Warzone and Apex, keeping crosshairs steady with minimal thumb fatigue.
Heavy Sniper Springs (+70%)
A noticeably firmer physical resistance preferred by dedicated sniper and long-range players. Delivers maximum crosshair stability and rapid snapback to center.
✔ Compatible Controllers:
PS5 DualSense & DualSense Edge, PS4 DualShock, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers (uses standard full-size 16mm internal module housings).
✖ Incompatible Controllers:
Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons, PlayStation Portal, and Steam Deck (these utilize slim, low-profile ribbon modules that cannot accept full-size 16mm replacement springs).
